OCAC Golden Spot Residency, OR, 2014

While I was the Hallie Ford Golden Spot Resident at OCAC I created site responsive works that related to the way I moved around the campus and interacted with certain facilities. I used my studio as a staging ground for creating the work and even made it become it’s own piece by using the windows as a site. While site responsive is not necessarily new to my process, each site is different and is accentuated by new materials and methods. I worked almost exclusively with red mylar, a new material for me.
